General terms
The terms on which you use this website, and the general terms on which we quote for and run work. Read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1Who we are
Impact Marketing Agency (“Impact”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing agency founded in 2025 and based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We plan, produce and measure events, brand activations, retail pop-ups and ATL/BTL campaigns.
Our postal address and phone number are in the footer of every page on this site. Written notice under these terms should go to legal@impactbd.marketing.
2Accepting these terms
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
Sections 1 to 9 are about the website. Proposals and engagements sets out the general terms on which we quote for and carry out work — but a signed proposal, purchase order or contract for a specific project takes precedence over anything here where the two differ.
3What this website is, and is not
This site describes what we do and shows a selection of our work. It is published for information.
- Nothing on it is an offer, a quotation, or a commitment to provide any service at any price. Scope, timings and price are given in a written proposal for a specific brief.
- Figures, timelines and outcomes quoted in case studies and journal articles describe particular campaigns under particular conditions. They are not forecasts, and should not be read as what a comparable campaign will achieve.
- Commentary in our journal is general, not professional advice on your situation.
4Case studies, client names and imagery
Projects on this site are described by sector and format — “Fashion Label \ Pop-Up Launch” — rather than by client name. We do not name a client, publish their brief, or show their campaign assets unless they have agreed to it in writing.
If you are a client and you would like a project removed, renamed or credited differently, write to us and we will change it.
5Intellectual property
The site — its text, photography, film, layout, code, the Impact name and our marks — belongs to us or to our licensors, and is protected by copyright and related rights under Bangladeshi law.
- You may read the site, and print or download extracts for your own reference or to evaluate working with us.
- You may not republish, sell, sub-licence or systematically copy any part of it, or use it as training data for a machine-learning model, without our written permission.
- Third-party marks shown on the site belong to their owners and appear for identification only. Their presence is not an endorsement of us by them.
Ownership of, and licences to, material we create for a project are dealt with in the contract for that project — not here.
6Acceptable use
Do not use this site for anything unlawful, and do not:
- try to reach any part of the site, its hosting, or a connected system, that is not made available to you;
- introduce malware, or interfere with the site’s availability or performance;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site, or use automated means to submit anything through it;
- present yourself as us, or as connected with us.
We may withdraw access from anyone who does.
7Links and embedded content
The site links out to other websites and embeds one third-party player. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or what they do with your data.
- The showreel
- Hosted by Vimeo. It loads only after you press play, and only if you have allowed embedded video in cookie settings. Once loaded, Vimeo receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
- The address in the footer
- Opens Google Maps, on Google’s terms.
- The social links
- Open the platforms themselves, on theirs.
The Cookie Policy sets out what each of these means in practice.
8Availability and changes
We publish this site on a reasonable-efforts basis. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it — including this text — at any time.
The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Material changes are posted here; continuing to use the site after they appear is acceptance of them.
9Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, and so far as the law allows:
- we exclude the warranties and conditions that would otherwise be implied into your use of this site;
- we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of — or inability to use — this site, or from anything you rely on from it.
Liability arising from a project is governed by the contract for that project, and is normally capped at the fees paid under it. This clause neither extends nor reduces that cap.
10Proposals and engagements
These are the general terms on which we quote and work. They apply unless a signed proposal or contract says otherwise.
- Proposals and validity
- A proposal sets out the scope, deliverables, assumptions and price for a specific brief. Unless it says otherwise it is valid for 30 days, and it is priced on the vendor rates, venue availability and permit conditions known when it was written.
- Scope changes
- Work outside the agreed scope is quoted and approved in writing before it starts. Late changes to a live production — artwork, guest numbers, staging, staffing — can carry supplier charges, which we pass on at cost.
- Payment
- Unless agreed otherwise, event and activation work is invoiced with a deposit before production begins and the balance on completion. Invoices are payable within 15 days. We may hold production where a due deposit is unpaid.
- Third-party suppliers
- Venues, contractors, printers, media owners and equipment hire are engaged on your behalf on their own terms. We select and manage them with care, but we do not underwrite their performance beyond what we can recover from them.
- Permits and approvals
- Public activity in Bangladesh depends on permissions from city, police and venue authorities. We apply for them and keep the relationships that move them along — but we cannot guarantee that a permission is granted, or that its conditions do not change after it is.
- Weather and force majeure
- Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control — weather, flooding, hartal, civil unrest, power failure, transport disruption, or an act of government. Where a dated event cannot go ahead, we will work with you to reschedule and will pass on only what is already committed.
- Cancellation and postponement
- Costs already committed to suppliers are payable on cancellation, whenever it happens. Each proposal carries its own cancellation scale, because the figure depends entirely on which suppliers are locked in and when.
- Your materials
- You confirm that you hold the rights to the brand assets, artwork, music, footage and personal data you give us, and that we may use them to do the work. They remain yours.
- Photography of the work
- We photograph and film what we produce, and may show it in our portfolio, on this site and in credentials. Tell us before the event if a project is confidential and we will not.
11Confidentiality
We treat a brief, its budget and its commercial detail as confidential, and we ask the same of our proposals, rates and methods. Each of us may share what has to be shared with team members and suppliers who need it to do the work, on the same terms.
12Personal data
How we handle personal data — yours, your team’s, and that of people who attend the activations we run — is set out in the Privacy Policy.
13Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction.
Before that, please write to us. Almost everything is faster to settle in a letter than in a courtroom.
